WASTE = FOOD

Kl 17:15-18:00, sal B32

At Hållbarhet 2010 you have the opportunity to get to know more about the design concept Cradle to Cradle. With Cradle to Cradle, as in nature, there is no such thing as waste, no having to do without, no limitations. Using biological and technological nutrient cycles, the right materials are brought to the right place at the right time.

The aim of the Cradle to Cradle design concept is to improve the quality of products so that they:

  • Have an improved consumer quality for the user
  • Pose no health risk for anyone who comes into contact with them
  • Are of both economic and ecological benefit

This is not just a beautiful vision, the concept is already successfully adopted by several companies from different business areas.

Come and listen to Örjan Söderberg, Head of Education of Industrial Design Engineering Chalmers, and Daniel Philipson, Design Engineer from Xdin - members of Cradlenet, the Swedish C2C network, who will give you an introduction to this exiting businessmodel and talk about the latest development in Europe and Sweden.
